Cooking Pleasures Ceramic Skillet Review

A couple of days ago  I received my first product to test. Which is a Cooking Pleasures 10" ceramic skillet which was only $9.95 for shipping.

Now I love to cook and that is why I chose Cooking Pleasures Skillet, so last night I made my first dish with my new skillet, or what I like to call frying pan. :)

I am always looking for new recipes to try, so after I got my new frying pan I finally figured out I wanted to make Mexican Latin Chilaquiles but chicken Chilaquiles instead of being made with egg.

Im sure you might be wondering what are Chilaquiles? Chilaquiles are like stated above a Mexican, or Latin dish made with chile verde, onion, corn tortillas and egg, and other ingredients if you choose to add them and then its fried/grilled in a pan until done. SO DELICIOUS! I made mine with chicken breast, chile verde, diced tomatoes, corn tortillas, serrano chiles and it was amazing! I ate it for dinner with two helpings and then I also ate it for brunch and dinner today.

Now back to the pan lol! First, I love that the pan was wide and non-stick and there was an air hole at the top of the lid so you did not have to tilt it. My food came out perfect, did not burn and it was easy to clean the pan and put the food away. I LOVE MY NEW CERAMIC SKILLET! :D

  8. Just curious as to if you can actually make an omelette without having to use ANY oil. I have had several pans and even that darn green pan they advertise on tv you have to use some oil in or else it's going to stick.

    1. Before you use it for the first time treat the pan with a little bit of oil. Then after that you don't have to use anything. However, you need to cook at lower temperatures than you may be used to with other pans. Hope this helps.

  9. STAY AWAY FROM THE CERAMIC SKILLETS!!! They work fine for a couple of months, then get
less non-stick with each use, until now mine are superstick. Even when 3 tbs oil are used,
omelets become scrambled eggs and the entire pan surface has stuck on egg. I seasoned as
directed, always kept the heat medium or below, never scratched, used some oil every time, reseasoned
after 3-4 months and it continues to get worse with every use. They are going into the
    trash.
